Sierra Self Storage Consulting, LLC was formed in 2004, by Mr. Andrew B. Kelly Jr., as a service to help new and existing investors maximize their return on investment, through both consulting and management services.
Upon gaining commercial experience in both banking and real estate, Mr. Kelly ventured into the Self Storage industry. He started his storage career as an Area Manager for National Self Storage Management, Inc supervising twenty-two facilities in five states, and proceeded over the next ten years to be promoted to Regional Vice-President, Executive Vice-President of Operations and Consulting, and finishing as Chief Operating Officer until forming his own companies.
Mr. Kelly's experience includes overseeing the operations and profit / loss of ninety-three storage facilities totaling over four million square feet of storage in eight states, which included supervision of seven Regional Managers, three Directors and one hundred and eighty field personnel. He was the designated broker for National Self Storage and was responsible for all third party management contracts, commercial retail and office / warehouse facilities management and leasing. He was also in charge of new business development and storage consulting from operations review to feasibility studies. He has also been called as an expert witness for storage clients. He initiated the complex safety training exercises mandated by OSHA in 1992 for National Self Storage Management, which resulted in reduction of injuries and savings in insurance premiums. He regularly attends the self storage tradeshows in an effort to remain in the forefront of the most recent advances for the industry.
